HISTORIC ACQUISITION
In a historic milestone, The Arts Club of Washington acquired one of Kelly's paintings for its Permanent Collection—the institution’s first-ever acquisition of a living artist. Founded in 1916 and modeled after New York’s National Arts Club and London’s Chelsea Arts Club, the Arts Club is the oldest nonprofit arts organization in Washington, D.C. This distinction solidifies Kelly’s rising standing in the global artistic community.
